✨November Employee Spotlight🔦: Meet Amanda Cruz 🔦✨ Accounts Receivable at InteriorWorx Commercial Flooring! ✨

Amanda’s accounting journey began in 1998 when a friend asked her to temp for a general contractor. An accounting position opened up, and she was hooked! 💼💙 Her career eventually brought her to Arizona, where a connection with an old friend led her to an AR opportunity at ReSource Arizona.

🧾 From AIA billing and schedules of values to lien waivers, retention, and collections, Amanda loves untangling the details and keeping payments moving. Her motto? “Accuracy is speed!” 🎯

For Amanda, clients are valuable business partners. She believes in picking up the phone, working through challenges together, and finding solutions. Turning a complicated billing package into an approval with zero rejections? That’s her kind of victory! 🙌

Outside the office, she loves getting lost in a good book, diving into crime and mystery shows or podcasts 🔎, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her fur babies. 🐾💕 When it’s time for a little friendly competition, she brings her A-game to walking challenges and Halloween contests! 👟🎃

Our two-day epoxy training at Prestige Protective Coatings right here in Mesa was a huge success! It’s been a great opportunity for our team to learn more about a variety of flooring systems, including:

✨Employee Spotlight 🔦: Meet Mason Pace 🎃 Construction Clean Manager at InteriorWorx Commercial Flooring✨

As our Construction Clean Manager, Mason helps our projects shine, from supporting crews and keeping schedules on track to building strong client relationships. With hands-on experience in construction cleaning, project management, sales, and entrepreneurship, he brings energy and a practical approach to every job. 🏗️

Mason’s two-year mission in Huancayo, Peru, taught him Spanish and strengthened his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Today, his philosophy is simple: Keep learning, take ownership, and treat people well.

Outside of work, you’ll find Mason coaching volleyball, working out, spending time with friends, or taking aim on the disc golf course. 🏐🥏 And his competitive side is paying off, he won his division in his very first disc golf tournament with a 341-foot ace to secure the win! 🎯

Today’s Subcontractor Appreciation Luncheon was a success! The InteriorWorx Commercial Flooring team enjoyed celebrating our subcontractors with delicious tacos from the Taqueria Guadalajara taco truck, great company, and some exciting raffle prizes! 🎉

A special thank-you to Custom Building Products, Big D, and Daltile for generously donating wonderful prizes for our subcontractors.

🎉 October 🎃 Employee Spotlight: Brandon Hill 🌟🔦Vice President of Operations at InteriorWorx Commercial Flooring🎉

Brandon’s foundation in construction started early, working alongside his father and brothers in the family business finishing concrete, building houses, and learning the value of doing things right. His father’s example instilled principles that still guide him today: work hard, keep your word, and act with integrity, even when no one is watching.

After studying Construction Management he began his professional career through an internship with a general contractor in Arizona. Brandon built a career spanning estimating, project management, commercial and residential construction, and executive operations. From managing government and tribal projects to helping businesses expand and navigate tremendous growth, he brings a practical understanding of how decisions affect the field, the office, and the customer.

At InteriorWorx Commercial Flooring, Brandon focuses on equipping our team with the tools, technology, processes, and support they need to succeed. He enjoys solving operational challenges, simplifying complex tasks, and finding better ways to work while keeping people at the center of every improvement.

For Brandon, great systems help people make good decisions, deliver quality work, and achieve consistent results. His approach combines clear accountability, hands-on experience, and a willingness to try, learn, and improve.

🎉 Employee Spotlight: Rittner Hufford 🌟🔦Account Executive at InteriorWorx Commercial Flooring🎉

Meet Rittner Hufford, an accomplished Account Executive with more than 20 years of experience in business development, training, regional leadership, and commercial flooring!

A graduate of the University of Arizona, Rittner earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Business Management. He began his career in sales and customer-focused roles, building a strong foundation in relationship management and understanding client needs. In 2014, a connection with the creator of Prince Street and Constantine Carpet introduced him to commercial flooring and, as he was told at the time, “Once you’re in the flooring world, you’re stuck in the flooring world.” More than a decade later, that statement still holds true! 🏗️

As an Account Executive, Rittner focuses on understanding each client’s flooring needs, strengthening industry relationships, and connecting commercial projects with the right products and solutions. His experience across manufacturing, product selection, budgeting, installation, scheduling, and project coordination allows him to evaluate projects from multiple perspectives.

Rittner believes the best solutions must do more than look good on paper, they must perform on the jobsite, remain within budget and schedule, and work for the people responsible for installing and maintaining them. His goal is to be a trusted resource and dependable partner, not simply a salesperson. 🤝

Throughout his career, Rittner has contributed to notable projects including Desert Diamond Casino, the Arizona Humane Society Papago Campus, St. Vincent de Paul Towers, City of Hope hospitals, and Optima Camelview. He has also served as President of the NEWH Arizona Chapter and later as an Executive Advisor, supporting education, networking, scholarships, and professional development within the hospitality industry. 🌟

Competitive, relationship-driven, and straightforward, Rittner approaches every challenge by asking questions, understanding the problem, and finding a practical solution. His guiding principle is simple: Do what you say you’re going to do. He believes trust is earned through consistency, transparency, responsiveness, and follow-through.

This month, we’re excited to spotlight Valerie Lozano!

Valerie began her professional journey in 2012 in Accounts Payable at a small microchip company. She soon transitioned into Accounts Receivable, expanding her skills and building a strong foundation in accounting, sales, quoting, and customer service.

In 2021, Valerie joined InteriorWorX in Accounts Payable while searching for greater work-life balance and continued professional growth. Although she was comfortable in accounting, she was ready to challenge herself. When a Project Manager opportunity became available, Valerie began asking questions, learning about the position, and ultimately decided to take a chance on herself, a decision she considers one of the best of her career!

Today, Valerie manages projects from start to finish, ensuring each one meets the schedule, budget, and client expectations. Her organized and dependable approach, combined with strong communication and attention to detail, helps create successful outcomes for our clients and project teams.

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: 🔦 Jon D. Little, Project Manager at InteriorWorx Commercial Flooring 🌟

Jon entered the flooring industry in 1998, not knowing much about the trade. Fast forward 28 years, and he’s built an impressive career by learning every side of the business, from the office to the warehouse to the field. He eventually found his way into project management, where he’s spent the last 15 years!

In his role as Project Manager, Jon coordinates multiple projects while working closely with Account Executives and installation crews to make sure every project is completed accurately, on time, and on or under budget. His strengths are communication, attention to detail, and identifying potential issues early to reduce risk and keep projects moving forward.

Jon believes successful project management is about more than simply managing schedules. It’s about building trust, creating strong partnerships, communicating consistently, and delivering on commitments. His approach is collaborative, organized, and proactive, with a focus on planning ahead, taking ownership, and finding solutions.

Gabriel's career began in automotive sales, where five years of working with people from every walk of life taught him how to build trust quickly, communicate under pressure, and lead with confidence. What started as an attempt to sell a car to someone in the commercial flooring industry unexpectedly opened the door to a new career. One that has been driven by mentorship, hard work, and a commitment to continuous growth.

Today, Gabriel specializes in Corporate TI and Ground-Up Warehouse projects, focusing on building lasting client relationships and delivering projects with a mindset of extreme ownership. His approach is simple: anticipate challenges before they happen, communicate honestly, and find proactive solutions that keep projects moving forward.

Gabriel believes construction is ultimately a people business 🤝. Integrity, transparency, and treating every client like a longtime friend are the principles that guide every project he takes on. His ability to stay calm under pressure and focus on solutions has become one of his greatest strengths.

Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys collecting classic video games🎮 , golfing when time allows⛳ , and, most importantly, spending quality time with his wife and son, his greatest motivation both personally and professionally. ❤️
