It’s not very often that a project comes long that is located in Historic building in a major city. This was one of those projects. For me personally it is the Cherry on top of a career that has taken me to many great projects across Chicagoland.

The Alstate Wolves Steam room, Ogilvie Station 24 elevator floors, The town of Addison 911 call center outdoor entryway facades, Peninsula Hotel Spa Steam Room preparations, and then there are countless other great residential projects that we have installed some personally my myself.

This one is more on a personal level for me. To assist a fellow artist in completing her vision was important. This business in this City is tough, in many respects tougher than many other around the world. Competition is fierce and timelines are tight, happen in seemingly with a moments notice and with a budget.

Dannielle did a phenomenal job getting the mosaics ready in time for us to install the 12 sheets that were approximately 5’x11’ at a completed width and height above the sales floor. With her guidance we were able to get the project installed ahead of the deadline for the opening event which took place on 4/16/2026 and will continue through 5/10/2026.

There are too many pivotal and great production pictures to put all of them here and do them justice.
I will create a string of posts slowly over the next coming weeks to celebrate a long awaited spring and the beautiful artwork we installed for Danielle!

We hope you also personally stop on down to the Macy’s State street location to take a look.. maybe a selfie or 2 😀 after you buy some perfume and clothing in the different wonderful departments located there ! ❤️

Danielle Casali Studio / Installation

What a dream. With a months notice, my team and I hand cut 55 square feet of stained glass and installed in a landmark location. I am so grateful to the Macy's team for seeing and recognizing my work, trusting me with the design and ex*****on, and giving me the opportunity to rise to the occasion. Thanks to the Macy’s facilities team for providing all the prep work for install, to my wonderful assistants Brandi Ruiz Timko and Carli Bergeson for putting in the long days and bringing their glass cutting skills, and to my install team with Unique 2 Greg Twarog who let me sit back and relax more than I’m used to. There are a few finishing touches to add, final reveal to come. Or go see for yourself during the Pop Up Flower Show, and thereafter
