The only problem I have with these large jobs is there's always something to do haha. After setting the pan and the curb I could usually call it an early Friday! But not today!

Most people think tile and grout are waterproof. And that's not true. But that's especially true for ceramic tiles. They can have a water absorption rate from anywhere from 3% to 10%. Anything 5% and over I like to soak my tiles. If there's no moisture in the tile it's going to take it from the thinset. Causing a bad bond to the thinset.
