Ever wonder how arborists climb 80–100 foot trees without using ladders or spiking the tree?

This technique is called Single Rope Technique (SRT).

SRT is one of several modern climbing techniques used in professional arboriculture. When appropriate for the tree and the work being performed, it can improve climbing efficiency and help reduce climber fatigue during the ascent. Conserving energy on the way up allows climbers to stay focused on what matters most—performing safe, precise work once they're in the canopy.

👋 Hi! I'm Amanda, and I'd like to introduce myself.

I'm the co-owner of Tico Time Tree Care and the ISA Certified Arborist on our team.
While my husband, Gino, leads our climbing and field operations with years of hands-on tree care experience, my focus is helping our clients feel informed and confident every step of the way.

Before starting Tico Time Tree Care, I spent years building my career in customer service, sales, and office administration. Those experiences taught me the importance of clear communication, organization, and treating every customer with respect. Today, I manage much of our scheduling, estimates, customer communication, and business operations while also providing professional tree assessments and recommendations as an ISA Certified Arborist.

I love helping homeowners understand their trees—whether it's identifying potential hazards, improving tree health through proper pruning, or discussing the best long-term options for their landscape. My goal is to make sure every client has the information they need to make the best decision for their property.

Together, Gino and I combine professional climbing expertise, arboricultural knowledge, and exceptional customer service to provide thoughtful, dependable tree care from start to finish.
