𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧: 𝗔 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳, 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿!

DGA Builders recently completed this 15,589 SF Roof Rehabilitation project that combines restoration, modernization, and precise coordination. Our team replaced aging roof membranes and installed new flashings and masonry weeps to improve long-term moisture performance, while restoring roofs, insulation, parapets, and coping stones.

The scope also included AHU and exhaust fan replacements with new duct and electrical components, along with selective masonry façade restoration, brick repointing, and concrete sill replacement, and 4th-floor flashing repairs.

This building was known as the 'University of Rochester Center for Urban Studies.

This year, DGA Builders completed the new $23M, 39,200 SF multifunctional RIT Research Lab building. Designed with abundant natural light, the facility includes 18 labs for the Colleges of Science and Engineering, as well as classrooms, conference rooms, and collaborative corridor spaces.

We’re grateful to MRB Group for their modern, innovative design and the rest of the project design team Herrick-Saylor Engineers , M/E Engineering, and BME Associates. With a project like this geared towards innovation, collaboration, and knowledge we were more than grateful to witness the ribbon cutting and official opening of the RIT Research Lab building. Thank you to Rochester Institute of Technology for entrusting us on this project. We are extremely thankful for the opportunity to bring RIT's vision to life.

We can't wait to post project photos now that the building is officially open.

In 1994, DGA completed this $3,500,000 valued construction of Wal-Mart in Amherst, NY. It was originally located on 2055 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst, NY from 1994 to late 2011.

𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴

We are very proud of the DGA team for their creative engineering and problem-solving to restore the Rundel Library’s exterior façade.

This project required delegated-design solutions for temporary terrace shoring in the old subway tunnel; a rooftop “racetrack” platform system to distribute material and equipment across the entire roof; and a rooftop swing stage anchoring system to reach the South and West elevations. This engineering effort gave DGA safe access to the historic cast stone and window rehabilitation elements of the historic building.

Spider cranes on the roof, swing stage scaffolds, telehandlers, boom lifts, and an unwavering determination through two winters will enable the team to complete this exceptionally unique project.
