Mini Split systems are a popular choice for heating a single room or space. One reason, they don't suffer the heat loss that ducts and vents do in more traditional systems. In essence with ducts, some of the heat your furnace generates "leaks" out into unheated spaces which can lead to higher heating bills and a less comfy home.
