Today’s project was a fun one! The garden landscape fabric had several layers of grass in it. Ronnie took out the old fabric and just like that the w**ds were all gone! That happens a lot with gardens that have been in place for a number of years. The w**d barrier fails after time and then it needs to be updated with fresh material. The trick to minimizing w**ds by the border is to make sure to lay the new fabric so it is all of the way under the block, which we did! We also removed a couple of bushes and added some new perennial plantings, landscape fabric and mulch.
The homeowner already had some nice raised beds that we planted herbs to fill those beds.
A raised bed by the garage has some nice pretty annuals for the homeowner, bees and butterflies to enjoy!! A bright and cheery garden.
