The Boat House, Southport, Connecticut.

This project runs on the STL-W75 casement profile throughout, with twin casement outswings and twin inswing doors working together across the water facing elevations. Flat T muntin bars keep the divided lite pattern clean without adding bulk to the sightlines.

Finished RAL 8019 (gray brown that renders like cocoa), with brass hardware and an antique brass cremone bar to warm up the steel against the water and the wood tones inside. Small details like hardware finish and muntin profile are what elevate a luxury steel units and show the creative flexibility the medium.

Holiday House, Martha's Vineyard

These fixed windows needed extra structural steel support to hold up against 175 kilometers per hour, or 110 miles per hour, Atlantic wind loads. Not a small ask for glass this size.

We used simulated divided light (SDL) to keep the sightlines exceptionally thin without giving up any of that structural integrity. The result reads light from inside the house and performs like it was built for a coastline that does not go easy on anything.

Steel windows, that stand up to real weather.

Getting the Window to the Opening

Getting one of All the Details' steel windows onto a job site is its own project. These pieces are not light. A single oversized steel window can weigh several hundred pounds, and once you factor in insulated glass, the numbers climb fast.

On a recent installation, the crew coordinated a crane lift to bring the steel window up and over the building to reach the opening. That kind of move takes real planning. Street closures, rigging points, weather windows, and a crew that has done this before so nothing gets rushed in the air.

This is the part of the job nobody sees in the finished photos. The fabrication gets the attention, but the logistics are what actually get the window installed without damage or delay. Every rigging plan is built around the specific unit, the specific building, and the specific street.

Bronze doesn’t get talked about enough in residential design. It’s the material for owners who want a front door that reads as architecture, not an afterthought.

The BRZ B75 pivot door pairs solid bronze with pivot hardware built for scale. A pivot door swings on a single point set back from the edge instead of a hinge line, so you can run larger panels, heavier glass, and slimmer sightlines than a standard hinged door allows. No sag over time, no visible hardware breaking up the frame.

Bronze ages the way people actually want a front door to age. It develops a living patina, deepens in color, and every installation takes on its own charecter depending on light and weather exposure over the years. Pair that with a pivot mechanism engineered for oversized openings and the entrance reads as sculpture as much as function.

This is not a stock door. Every B75 pivot is fabricated to the opening, the finish, and the way the client moves through the space.

Fairfield, Connecticut | A Pool House Built for All Seasons

This project started as a spec house. It's now a full time family retreat.

The owners relocated from Brooklyn and reworked the property to match how they actually live. A wraparound porch went in, the basement got finished out, and the centerpiece of it all, a custom pool and pool house, brought the whole plan together.

The pool house was designed to sit in proportion with the main house, not compete with it. Inside there's a fireplace and a media center. All The Details steel and glass folding doors open the space up completely in warm weather and seal it tight when its cold, so the room actually earns its keep twelve months a year, not just three.

Late summer evenings by the pool are the payoff, but the real win is a space the family can use in every season.

All The Details Brings European Steel Pivot Doors and Windows to a Sag Harbor Home in Sagaponack, New York

A steel window and door package built for a Sag Harbor home in the Hamptons. This project features two sliding doors with hinged screens and four casement windows, also with hinged screens, giving the homeowners full ventilation without sacrificing the clean steel sightlines.

The pivot doors are the standout. That split swing and sweeping motion is a hallmark of true European pivot hardware, and it brings a sense of arrival you do not get with a standard hinged door.

Finish is a split exterior and interior treatment: RAL 7046 on the outside, RAL 9003 on the inside, with an integrated screen system running throughout the home.
