Sinking, uneven concrete? Watch this. ⏱️

PolyLevel foam fills the voids under sunken concrete and lifts it right back into place, no jackhammers, no mess, no waiting around for weeks of curing. If a walkway, patio steps, or driveway slab at your place has started sinking, this is probably the fix.

Helping one homeowner at a time. 🛠️

Whether it’s a shifting crawlspace, a cracking basement wall, or crumbling concrete out front — our team shows up with a real solution, not just a quote. This week, Austin Manders at our Des Moines location was back at it, getting hands-on and making sure another homeowner’s home is solid from the ground up.

Crawlspace repair. Basement repair. Concrete repair. We’ve got you covered.

A basement dehumidifier from a big-box store may not be enough to handle the humidity in your entire basement. The SaniDry Sedona is designed to circulate dry air throughout your basement or crawl space and remove up to 95 pints of water per day.

It also features automatic humidity sensing and drainage, while filtering mold spores, dust, dust mite droppings and other particles.

Seeing this at your own place? Send us a message or give us a call. We're happy to take a look.

Follow along for more of what we see out in the field every week.

After the couple of weeks Nebraska and Iowa just had, it's tempting to think the worst is over once the rain stops. But some foundation and basement issues don't become noticeable until after the storm, as all that water works its way into the ground and the soil around your home changes.

Now that the rain is letting up, it's actually a good time to do a quick check:

âś… Walk your basement and look for any new dampness, musty smells, or staining you didn't notice during the chaos
âś… Check outside for soil that's pulled away from your foundation, or any new gaps or cracks
âś… Make sure your sump pump is working properly and didn't have any issues keeping up with the recent rain

If you went through flooding this week and just haven't had a chance to really look yet, now's a good time. We're happy to come take a look and help you understand what you're seeing.

If you're in Omaha or Des Moines, you already know, it has not stopped raining. Flooding has already closed roads around Omaha this morning, and Des Moines could see another 4 inches before Thursday. 🌧️

Here's the thing: most foundation and basement problems don't show up during the storm; they show up a few days after, once all that water has had time to soak into the soil around your home.

Keep an eye out for:
đź’§ A musty smell in the basement that wasn't there before
đź’§ New cracks, or small cracks that suddenly look wider
đź’§ Doors or windows that start sticking
đź’§ Water pooling near your foundation instead of draining away

Catching it early is the difference between a simple fix and a major one. If you're noticing any of these signs after this week's rain, we'll come take a look — no cost, no pressure.

Behind the scenes: Fort Madison 📍

The problem: A crack in the basement wall — a sign of foundation settlement, usually caused by soil shifting and losing its ability to support the wall evenly.

The fix: Push piers driven down to bedrock (or a stable soil layer) to stabilize the foundation and take the pressure off that wall for good — not a patch job, a permanent fix.
