Getting ready for the winter means insuring your heating equipment is running properly and taking the right preventative steps now to avoid costly emergency service calls later.
Client had an older oil burner boiler and water heater that was on its last leg. It had been repaired too many times and the last recent breakdown caused concern for the client. They decided it was time to replace the entire system before the cold snaps begin.
We ripped out the boiler and water heater, changed up the configuration a bit to go from zone valves with one single circulator pump to a system with circulator pumps for each zone so if a pump fails, it isn't the whole system going down. Installed a new 168k BTU Advantage oil burner boiler with lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger and a HTP 60 gal stainless in-direct water heater with lifetime warranty giving the client the additional peace of mind for years to come.
After tuning the boiler, the system is running more efficiently than the old system saving money on fuel, helping the client with the rising costs of energy.
