How to extend the life of your Ride-On mowers Deck Belt
A little regular maintenance can help keep your Husqvarna ride-on mower cutting smoothly and extend the life of your deck belt.
•Check the belt regularly for cracks, fraying or signs of wear.
•Keep grass, dirt and debris clear from around the deck and
pulleys.
•Avoid mowing very long or wet grass where possible. Long, heavy or wet grass puts extra load on the cutting deck and can make the belt work harder, increasing wear and the chance of slipping.
•When grass is long, raise the cutting height and take smaller passes rather than trying to cut too much at once.
•If the grass is wet, consider waiting until it has dried to reduce strain on the deck and belt and help prevent grass build-up.
•Avoid running over branches, sticks or other objects that could damage the belt.
•Make sure the belt is correctly fitted and has the proper tension.
•If you notice slipping, squealing or uneven cutting, have the belt checked.
Looking after your deck and belt will help keep your Husqvarna ride-on mowing efficiently and reliably.
