A shower that had been written off. Back in use in two days.

Cracked grout, lifting silicone, a smell that wouldn't leave, this Melbourne bathroom had been quietly getting worse for over a year. The owner had been putting off the call, assuming it meant weeks of disruption and a bathroom out of action.

It didn't.

We removed the failing grout, regrouted with premium grout, and replaced the silicone throughout. Two days. No tiles touched. No mess. No chaos.

The smell is gone. The shower is properly sealed and watertight. Backed by a 10-year waterproof warranty.

Sometimes the job you've been dreading is easier than you think. There's only one way to find out.

Free on-site assessments across WA, NSW, QLD, SA, and VIC.

For property managers, a leaking shower in a rental isn't just a maintenance issue. It's a liability.

Water getting into wall cavities leads to mould, structural damage, and tenant complaints that escalate. Left long enough, you're not looking at a regrout, you're looking at a builder, a plasterer, and potentially a claim.

The fix, in most cases, is straightforward. A full shower regrout done properly, completed in one to two days, with no tiles removed and minimal disruption to tenants or the property.

The things we hear from property managers and strata teams who work with us regularly:

The free on-site assessment makes it easy to get a clear picture of what's needed before approving any work. Every technician is part of the in-house team, no dealing with subcontractors, no unknown faces in the property.

If you manage properties and have bathrooms that haven't been looked at in a while, it's worth a conversation.

Failing grout doesn't mean your tiles need to come off.

Retiling is a major job. A professional regrout, done properly with premium materials and the right sealing process, is a fraction of that cost. And in most cases where grout is cracking and silicone is failing, the tiles themselves are perfectly fine. They don't need to come off.

We see homeowners and property managers spend far more than necessary because they assume failing grout means new tiles. It almost never does.

If you're weighing up your options, start with a free on-site assessment. We'll tell you honestly what the situation is and exactly what it needs.

Quick one for the homeowners, when did you last look at your shower grout?

Not clean it. Actually look at it.

Drop a 👀 below if you genuinely can't remember. We won't judge, it's one of those things nobody thinks about until something goes wrong.

Your shower might be leaking right now and showing you zero signs of water damage.

Here are five things worth checking, any one of them could mean water is likely getting somewhere it shouldn't.

1. Grout that's cracking or crumbling at the base The base takes the most water. If the grout is breaking down there, it's already letting moisture through.

2. Mould that comes back within days of cleaning
If mould keeps returning despite regular cleaning, failing grout or silicone could be letting moisture in behind the surface, making it a recurring problem rather than a surface one.

3. Discolouration that doesn't shift no matter what you use

Stubborn staining that doesn't respond to cleaning can be a sign the grout has broken down and is trapping moisture. Worth getting looked at if it keeps coming back.

4. Silicone that's peeling or lifting The silicone seal is your last line of defence. When it lifts, water goes straight into the floor cavity.

5. A musty smell, and your bathroom looks fine This one matters most. If you can smell damp but can't see any damage, water has been getting into the wall for a while.

Any of these on their own is worth a look. More than one, and don't wait.

Every person who walks into your property to work on your shower is part of our team. No subcontractors. No exceptions.

This matters more than it might sound.

When a company uses subcontractors, the person doing the work may never have been trained by that company, may not follow the same processes, and is often juggling multiple clients across multiple businesses. Quality becomes inconsistent. Accountability gets blurry.

Our technicians are in-house and trained to our standard. That's how we can back every full shower regrout with a 10-year waterproof warranty, because we know exactly how the work was done and who did it.

For homeowners, it means a consistent result and someone to call if you ever have a question.

For property managers and strata teams, it means vetted, trained professionals in your properties every time, not a different face on every job.

We'll settle a debate that comes up more than you'd think.

When you notice cracked grout or mould that keeps coming back in your shower, what do you do?

A) Google it and hope for the best
B) Try to clean it and ignore it
C) Call someone straight away
D) Put it on the "I'll deal with it later" list

Be honest. No wrong answers, we've seen all four. 👇

You check your smoke alarms every year. When did you last check your shower?

Most bathroom water damage isn't caused by burst pipes or visible leaks. It's caused by grout that's slowly failing, letting small amounts of water through the wall every single time the shower runs. By the time it's obvious, it's already expensive.

Think of it like a health check for your wet areas. A quick look by someone who knows what to look for, at a vacancy, annually, or whenever something seems off. It costs nothing to assess, and it catches problems when they're still cheap to fix.

We offer free on-site assessments. No obligation, no pressure. Just a clear picture of where things stand.

If you're cleaning mould off your shower grout every few days, maybe the mould isn't the problem.

Surface mould can come back because water is getting somewhere it shouldn't. Grout that's cracked, porous, or worn out stops being a barrier, and once moisture gets into the wall cavity, mould follows. You can clean the surface as often as you like, but until the grout and silicone are sorted, it'll keep coming back.

This is one of the most common things we see. Homeowners who've been scrubbing their shower for months, not realising the fix isn't a stronger cleaner, it's a proper regrout and reseal.

Regrouting removes the old failing grout entirely, regrouts with premium grout and seals everything so water stays where it belongs.

No more recurring mould. No more smell. No more guessing.

If your shower mould keeps coming back no matter what you use on it, that's your sign. Get it looked at before it goes further into the wall.
