The ACS family is fortunate to have many furry friends helping out behind the scenes. 🐾

Juni is always ready to lend Jessie Ashton a helping hand. She's also available for mental health breaks, ensuring Jessie gets some fresh air and exercise so she's fresh for client meetings. While Juni doesn't always give the best design advice, like kitchen counters at doggie-height, she's always Jessie's biggest cheerleader! 🐕

Our resident office dog, Zoe, takes her job as "Culture Specialist" very seriously. She works in the office daily, so on 'Take Your Dog to Work Day', Zoe was excited to bring her high vibes to on-site team members. We hope you enjoy Zoe's field trip to our job sites, where she brought smiles to the entire team! 🐶

Meet the team, featuring HR Manager, Mandy Utton (she/her).

Embodying ACS's core values and culture, Mandy provides our team with support in recruitment, performance management, compliance with safety & employment laws, and much more!

Mandy brings over 14 years of professional experience across a range of industries, with a particular passion for construction, working alongside both in-office and on-site teams.

With a strong background in people management, training and development, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, she ensures our organization runs seamlessly behind the scenes, empowering the team to excel and focus on what they do best.

She also keeps an eye on our Culture Specialist, Zoe, to make sure she doesn't beg for too many belly rubs or snore too loudly during meetings.

Congratulations to Mary's Popcorn on their beautiful new downtown Canmore location!

The ACS team collaborated with Nest Design and Drafting Studio to coordinate the design of this commercial space on Main Street.

Project scope included permitting with the Town of Canmore, Alberta Health Services, the local fire department, and the building’s condo board, as well as procurement, trade coordination, and site supervision.

Construction of this tenant improvement was completed from demolition through to closeout, delivering a full turnkey project for the client.

Project Throwback 👷‍♂️✨ Have you visited Spring Creek Market by Rusticana? It's a beautiful, modern, functional retail shop.

Rusticana has been a cornerstone of the Canmore community since 1978. They've grown from a humble corner store into a beloved local business. Their second Canmore location is an inviting space with a great selection of local products.

After completing the base building at this location, our team was brought back as Construction Manager to complete a commercial build for Rusticana.

With our deep familiarity with the site, we coordinated closely with Nest Design and Drafting Studio, managed permitting, and worked alongside trusted trades to bring the space together efficiently and seamlessly.

We’re proud to have played a role in building a place that supports local suppliers and strengthens community connections. Next time you're in Spring Creek, stop by and experience it for yourself. 🏔️☕
