Not every COVE success story looks like this.

Leeway Marine, one of COVE’s earliest ecosystem partners, recently saw its Leeway Odyssey featured on screen as the Research Vessel Sir John Franklin in the Netflix miniseries BELOW.

We love seeing members of the COVE ecosystem making an impact in unexpected places. Congratulations, Leeway Marine.

Great to be at DEFSEC Atlantic! COVE is thrilled to see ecosystem partner organizations like NATO DIANA and Innovate UK, and to see Kraken Robotics and Marble showcasing live models of their technology on the exhibition floor.

This is exciting showcase of defence and dual-use innovation.

What is the NATO Innovation Continuum?

Near the Halifax waterfront next week?

You might spot drones, a large airship similar in appearance to a blimp, and vessels on the water. This is all part of the NATO Innovation Continuum, hosted by COVE.

It’s a carefully planned, controlled technology demonstration, coordinated with local authorities to keep the surrounding community safe.

Next week, Halifax’s waterfront becomes a global stage.

COVE is proud to host the NATO Innovation Continuum, bringing together innovators, researchers, and Allied nations from around the world to accelerate the technologies of tomorrow.

Halifax has become recognized as one of North America’s leading centres for ocean, defence, autonomy, and dual-use innovation. This event is what that reputation looks like in action.

Stay tuned for more information on what to expect this fall.
