Guided by both the site and the owners’s design sensibility and drawing from mid century principles of clarity, proportion and relaxed living. The form is shaped for the cliffside and features clerestory windows, angled walls and expansive glazing oriented towards the Salish Sea. A generous deck extends the living space outward reinforcing a calm connection between architecture and landscape.

A custom designed modern Pacific Northwest home for our clients on British Columbia’s beautiful Sunshine Coast. Featuring large roof overhangs that not only shelter the home from the ever changing coastal weather but also create a visual statement. The low slung roof lines blend harmoniously with the natural landscape, ensuring the architecture feels like an organic extension of its surroundings.

Perched on the stunning coastline of BC's Sunshine Coast, this modern custom home blends Pacific Northwest design with subtle Mid-Century Modern touches. The home features low-slung rooflines and dramatic cantilevered overhangs that extend without posts, offering shelter from the coastal elements while preserving unobstructed ocean views.
