Hey everyone! Been a while since we posted on here, but we thought it was time to drop a friendly PSA!

One of our technicians went to a call today to repair a clogged sink. A very common thing in our business to unclog. Little did we know, the customer used a chemical to try and clear the drain. (I won't mention the name of the chemical used, but it failed to unclog the drain...O... )

My technician got on site and had to take apart some of the drainage underneath to work on the drain line, and some of the chemical got onto his skin. Needless to say, it created a chemical burn on his skin, and it is not a fun time! He had to have a shower, apply ointment to the burn, and will have to continue to put ointment on it for a while. It's a good thing he reacted when he did, or it could of been worse.

Needless to say, he cleared the blockage with proper tools to do the job, and not by using chemical that burned his skin, and potentially damaged the pipe! (Yes that's correct, chemicals can do more harm than good if they're left in the drain! It can eat away at the pipe and make it fragile, and brittle to the point where it can break.)

Anyways, here's a picture of the burn he got.

Lesson here is chemicals bad, Rooter Man good!

Had a blast at the 2024 Saskatoon Santa Claus Parade with the staff and families from Saskatoon Rooter Man! 🚽

Beautiful weather, so many spectators, and just an overall great time! 🎄 🎅

Thanks to everyone for helping making the float, helping out in the parade, and just having a blast while doing it all! Such a great kick off to the 2024 Christmas season! ♥️

The Rooter-Man Saskatoon Story

Rooter-Man is a locally family owned and operated franchise. Rooter-Man in Saskatoon was purchased 3 years ago by Kory Kozak, Gail Kozak, and Kory's two sons Michael and Matthew.

Rooter-Man has over 500 franchise locations throughout the world. We currently have 5 staff members and are looking to recruit 1-2 more. Kory has been involved in the plumbing and heating business for over 30 years and has passed his experience and knowledge on to his 2 sons and he is also on hands as required.

We currently do drain cleaning for all of the Saskatoon Co-ops, different departments for the City of Saskatoon, various hotels across Saskatoon, Starbucks, and as well as many of plumbing and heating companies in Saskatoon.

We take pride in our appearance of employees, our tools & equipment and as well as our vehicles. We also pride ourselves on getting away from the stereo type drain cleaning image. We are friendly, and very professional. (5 star rating on Google and Facebook with many reviews from many customers!)
