If you’ve ever been to the hospital with a child, you know how hard the waiting can be. For the past five years, Felix Culpa has been proud to support the Hospital Activity Book — an initiative created to bring a little entertainment, creativity and distraction to children and families during their time in hospital in partnership with Make a Wish Canada.

It’s a small thing that can make a difficult day a little brighter, and we’re happy to continue playing a part in making these books available to the communities they serve.

We’re proud to continue supporting an initiative that brings a little brightness to the wait.

Kingsville Ranch House

Designed for generations, rooted in place.

Home to a family of four, with an attached dwelling for the grandparents, Kingsville Ranch House was conceived as a place where family could live closely while still having spaces of their own.

Set within a beautiful working horse ranch, the architecture takes its cues from the land around it—familiar agricultural forms, simple gabled roofs, warm timber, masonry and metal—reinterpreted for the way this family lives today.

Modern, but grounded. Refined, but at home on the ranch.

Because here, the horses aren’t simply part of the landscape. They’re part of the family.

Sure, some homes have libraries. But this one has a wizard library. 🧙‍♂️📚

Every client brings their own personality, lifestyle, and wonderfully specific ideas to the design process. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to architecture. Our job is to listen closely and create something that feels unmistakably theirs.

This Victorian-Gothic addition and renovation in Wyandotte, Michigan, is being designed in collaboration with Concetti Studios—and it already has us completely under its spell. 🪄

What if a residential development offered more than a place to live?

This proposed development reimagines an underused site as a complete community—three distinctive residential towers connected by shared spaces designed to bring people together.

At street level, cafés, shops, patios and generous public steps create an active, welcoming edge. Within the development, residents can move from private balconies to landscaped green space, outdoor gathering areas, pickleball courts and even a community movie lawn.

Warm brick, light stone and repeating arches give each tower its own identity while creating one cohesive architectural story.

We’re fortunate to work alongside forward-thinking developers who trust us to explore bold ideas and give us the creative freedom to imagine what a site can truly become.

This is high-density living designed at a human scale: connected to the street, grounded in community and shaped around the way people actually want to live.

Where does your eye land first? 👁️

Is it the fireplace? The kitchen? The wooded view beyond?

This major cottage renovation was designed for deep conversations, slow mornings, and evenings that naturally linger. The kitchen sits at the heart of it all, connected to the spaces where life happens.

Rich wood ceilings carry the warmth of the surrounding landscape indoors, softening the transition between architecture and nature until it almost feels as though the forest continues right into the living space.

There isn’t a single feature competing for your attention. Instead, each element works together to create something greater than the sum of its parts—a home that feels calm, grounded, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Sometimes the best focal point is simply the life unfolding all around you. ✨
