🎃🍂 AND THAT’S A WRAP FOR PUMPKIN PICKING 2026! 🍂🎃
Well, what a few weeks it’s been! 😁🎃

Firstly, we want to say a HUGE thank you to our amazing team! ❤️ You’ve all worked your absolute socks off to make this year’s pumpkin picking happen. From the preparations in the weeks leading up to opening, to the long days, early mornings and everything in between. Whether we’ve had glorious sunshine, pouring rain or gale-force winds, you’ve all pulled together and we really couldn’t have done it without you! 💪🏼

To everyone who has visited us this October, thank you so much for choosing to spend part of your autumn with us! 🧡 It’s been lovely seeing so many familiar faces returning year after year, as well as welcoming lots of new visitors to the farm. We genuinely hope you’ve all had a wonderful time and made some lovely memories along the way.

The weather certainly threw a few challenges at us this year, and having to make the difficult decision to close was absolutely gutting. But the safety of our visitors, staff and animals will always come first. Thank you to everyone who was so kind, patient and understanding. It really did mean a lot. ❤️

🎃🍂 A LITTLE UPDATE FROM BROOKHEYS FARM 🍂🎃

Well, after the weather we’ve experienced here on the farm today, I think it’s safe to say we made the right decision to close! 💨🌧️

The wind has been absolutely battering us, and it simply wouldn’t have been safe to welcome visitors to the pumpkin patch today.

We are genuinely gutted to have disappointed so many of you who were looking forward to coming pumpkin picking. We know how much families look forward to their visits, and cancelling is never a decision we take lightly. ❤️

I’ve spent pretty much the entire day indoors responding to emails and messages as quickly as I possibly can, and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been so kind, patient and understanding. It really does mean so much, especially on days like today! 🥰

🎃 THE GOOD NEWS! 🎃

We still have plenty of pumpkin picking slots available for Saturday 31st October! 🍁

And please don’t worry about there being no pumpkins left! We’re not opening Monday to Friday during half-term this year, so the pumpkin patch won’t be picked over during the week. There will still be plenty of lovely pumpkins waiting for you to choose from! 🎃

We would absolutely love to see as many of you as possible next Saturday for one final day of pumpkin picking this year! 🍂

Once again, we’re so sorry for today’s disappointment, but the safety of our visitors, staff and animals will always come first.

🚨🎃 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – SUNDAY 25TH OCTOBER CANCELLED 🎃🚨

💔 Unfortunately, due to the storm, we have made the difficult decision to CANCEL our Pumpkin Picking event on Sunday 25th October.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly, and we are absolutely gutted to have to make it. However, the safety of our visitors & team are always be our number one priority. ❤️

📧 All customers booked for Sunday 25th October will be sent an email with further information regarding their booking you’ll be given an option to reschedule for Saturday 31st or receive a refund.

The countdown is on 3 days until our first weekend of pumpkin picking begins 😅
I had great fun and really enjoyed making this autumn arch as part of this years main display. The final display hasn’t yet been put together. But here’s a little sneak peek of it so far 😁👏🏻
Thanks to The Artificial flower shop at Hyde for a few last minute additions to give it that extra special touch 👌🏽🍁🍂

Photo boards are out 📸 , marshmallow toasting fire pit 🔥 is ready, photo ops nearly finished, wheel barrow tyres are pumped up 💨 we are so so close now to being ready to welcome you all back for our 7th year pumpkin picking (7 years!! Where has that time gone 😱)
The forecast for this weekend is looking pretty good 😎 so if you’re looking for a wholesome few hours out this weekend, tickets are still available to purchase, Some slots have sold out but there are still plenty of times to choose from.

Pumpkin picking 2026! 🎃
Wow well where has the time gone since last years pumpkin picking 😳
We’re getting lots of messages in regards tickets for this years pumpkin picking and are we holding our annual pumpkin event?! Well the answer is… Yes!!
Tickets will go on sale late August Early September as usual. So keep you eyes pealed on our social media for all further updates.

Christmas tractor Run 2025 🎄🚜 - raising money for The Christie
We had a fabulous day on Sunday, the amount of people who turned out was just incredible!! Over 180 tractors, lorry’s & other vehicles participated! Even bigger than last year! The streets were lined with so many people waving 👋🏼 it really has become a highlight to me & Ed over the festive period.
