So when the client came to us to build a wine rack , I didn’t think this is what I was going to be building. But excited after our meeting and Dan showed me some pictures of an old wagon wheel converted into a wine rack and wanted the same look.

Installing against a damp wall, so airflow was essential. Made a jig for measured layout and repeatable vent cuts with my OF1400 subtle detail, long-term performance.

So there weee two reasons for the need for this removable skirting board.
Firstly the ceilings were really low and the washing machine was having a pull out shelf on top for a washing basket then a tumble dryer on top of that.
Secondly it saved having to lift a heavy washing machine up onto the unit . Also for turning the water off to the machine.
So this skirting is invisible with its magnetic fixings for easy removal.

This is the kind of thing clients don’t always notice but they definitely benefit from it.

On this skirting job I needed to bend the skirting round a corner . So I kerfed the back and filled the cuts using a silicone spatula, a trick from Wes 🙌🏼 ,works a treat!

My memories showed this job from a year ago . I only posted a real so feel it deserves some pictures.
