🌳 Mature Beech Monolith – Chandler’s Ford

Today’s job saw the TreeWorX team working on a mature Beech tree in Chandler’s Ford for the Woodland Trust.

The tree had developed significant safety concerns, with the risk of large limbs being shed over neighbouring gardens and a well-used public right of way.

Rather than removing the tree completely, it was carefully reduced to a monolith, removing the hazardous canopy while retaining the main standing stem as valuable habitat for wildlife and deadwood-dependent species. 🌿🪲

A great example of balancing public safety with habitat conservation.

Another transformation completed for one of our valued returning customers in Wi******er.

This mature line of trees had become dense and overgrown, so we carried out a sympathetic crown reduction and reshape to improve their appearance while maintaining their natural form and long-term health.

The result is a cleaner, more balanced canopy that lets in more natural light while retaining the character of these beautiful mature trees.

🌳 Oak Reduction & Canopy Rebalance Completed 🌳

Another successful project completed for our long-standing client, Denmead Parish Council.

This mature oak had developed a heavy, unbalanced canopy with significant overhang towards the roadside. Our team carried out a sympathetic crown reduction and canopy rebalance to reduce end weight, improve the tree’s overall balance and maintain appropriate clearance over the highway.

The aim is always to preserve the natural shape and character of the tree while improving safety and promoting its long-term health.

☀️ Another great commercial job completed this week for our returning clients at FatFace Head Office in Havant.

Our team carried out a crown raise to trees surrounding the staff car park, along with selective tree clearance to improve access for delivery lorries.

With temperatures reaching 32°C, it made a nice change from the larger dismantles we’ve been tackling recently. A productive day in the sunshine, helping keep the site safe, accessible and looking its best.

🌳 Dangerous Acacia Tree Removed – Soberton, Hampshire 🌳

Another great day on the tools for the TreeWorX team. 💪

This mature Acacia tree was removed after a 5-day notice was accepted by Wi******er City Council. Inspection revealed extensive decay at the base, with significant rot throughout the main stem, making the tree unsafe to retain.

The tree was safely dismantled, removed and the site left spotless – all completed in a single day.

🌳 Big Oak Tree Dismantle – Fair Oak 🌳

A recent job completed in Fair Oak involving the careful dismantling of a large oak tree protected by a TPO.

Following confirmation of Ganoderma at the base and approval from the local council, the tree was reduced to a 15ft monolith to retain valuable habitat while addressing the safety concerns.

🌲 Pine Tree Removal – Wickham

Safe removal of a heavily leaning pine in Wickham after root plate failure was identified and the tree began to encroach toward a nearby property.

Due to the high-risk lean and compromised root system, a cherry picker was used to safely dismantle the tree section by section. Timber was then removed using a crane-assisted lift to ensure full control of large sections and zero impact on surrounding structures.

🌳 A productive day on site tackling a line of ash trees affected by Ash Dieback.

Using the Merlo and grapple saw, we were able to safely dismantle the trees while retaining and protecting the existing hedge line. Careful planning, the right machinery, and a solid team effort meant the work was completed efficiently and safely.
