Northgate Chester Arena Choose DYNAMIK Sports Flooring.

DYNAMIK have recently completed flooring installations at The Northgate Arena in Chester, delivering high performance sports and fitness solutions across multiple activity spaces within the facility.

The project covered a combined total area of 1,985m² across a multi-purpose space, two fitness studios, a state-of-the-art spin studio and the main sports hall. Within the fitness and activity spaces, we installed our Herculan Pad and PU seamless flooring system, providing a comfortable, durable and high-performing surface suited to a wide range of fitness and exercise activities.

Alongside this, we installed our Mondo Powerplay loose-lay, adhesive free system within the sports hall. A high-performance rubber sports surface designed to offer enhanced durability and indentation resistance, consistent grip and performance providing long-term resilience in busy multi-use sports environments. The rubber surface was installed directly over an existing solid cementitious wood block sports floor, enabling the facility to reduce refurbishment costs and minimise down-time due to the loose-lay technology, whilst increasing user comfort, safety and sports performance.

The completed project included:
• Herculan Pad and PU systems across 4 activity spaces
• Mondo Powerplay rubber sports flooring to the main sports arena
• DYNAMIK bespoke line marking and detailing
• Installation within a live leisure environment with carefully coordinated project delivery

Every area within a leisure facility places different demands on a floor, which is why selecting the correct system is so important. From fitness studios requiring comfort and versatility, to sports halls demanding durability and consistent athletic performance.

DYNAMIK will supply and install 2m x 1m giant protective tiles across a 4,200 sqm area, creating a safe and professional environment for athletes, officials, and spectators throughout the competition.

We were delighted to hear such fantastic feedback from our official partner, British Wheelchair Basketball, following the National Championship Finals at Derby Arena, where athletes competed on a DYNAMIK sprung system finished in a solid synthetic playing surface.

“We have never had more compliments about the performance of a floor like we did for this one, even with top GBR athletes saying it’s the best floor they have ever played on.”

Hearing praise like this from elite athletes is something we’re incredibly proud of, and delivering high-performance sports flooring that supports athletes at every level remains at the heart of what we do.

Proud to have designed and installed bespoke line marking at the incredible South Wye Police Boxing Academy 🥊

More than just a boxing club, South Wye has become a vital part of the Hereford community - creating opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities through sport, mentoring and outreach programmes. Since launching in 2014, the academy has supported schools, youth initiatives, mental health programmes, and community wellbeing projects, all while promoting discipline, confidence and inclusion.
