Groundworks Working Supervisor

Important Information
This is a nationwide role. Successful candidates will be required to travel and work on sites throughout the UK. Overnight stays may be necessary depending on project location. Accommodation and travel expenses will be provided where applicable.

Key Responsibilities
As a Groundworks Working Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting small groundworks and civils gangs, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Your duties will include:
* Supervising and assisting site operatives on a day-to-day basis
* Managing daily site activities and coordinating workloads
* Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project programmes
* Maintaining regular communication with Project Managers
* Liaising with client Site Managers and other contractors on site
* Promoting and enforcing high standards of Health & Safety at all times
* Ensuring compliance with RAMS, permits, and site-specific documentation
* Coordinating materials, plant, tools, and equipment requirements with Project Managers and the Procurement Team
* Completing site records, paperwork, and reports accurately and on time
Requirements
Essential:
* Valid CSCS Card
* SSSTS Certificate (current and in date)
* Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
* Excavator and Dumper tickets
* Previous experience in a Groundworks Supervisor role
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices
* Experience working with RAMS, permits, and site documentation
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
Experience Required
* Groundworks: Minimum 10 years’ experience
* Supervisory: Minimum 2 years’ experience
