Getting there😮‍💨
I f #%king hate stripping and felt and battening but it’s just something I have to do. No escaping it.
Doesn’t mean I have to like it 🤦🏻😂😂😂😂
Putting the new roof on is actually quite therapeutic on your own.
But so is shouting at people sometimes
( also quite therapeutic ) 😂😂😂
The one thing I miss when I’m on my own.
Don’t worry I only shout at stupid people 😉😂😂

Little update. I had to strip from the bottom up because I found out that the first 1.5 mtr of the roof was hiding a vaulted ceiling 😳
Definitely not something I want to damage.
A larth and plaster ceiling is very expensive to repair if you put your foot through it 🤦🏻😅

These photos only show one house but there’s actually two.
Complete refurbishment of both these properties starting next week. Including the porch’s and lower rear roof.
Looking forward to doing this job because it’s only 15 minutes drive from my house. 😁👍😊

First plain tile roof that I’ve done for ages.
I forgot how difficult it is sometimes to walk around on a roof with so many batons on it. 😅
Especially when it’s this steep.
It’s a 45* pitch but it feels steeper when you’re up there.
