This week we gave the old Sol y Sombra windows a fresh new look, replacing the tired white frames with sleek black ones. 🖤

A simple change that has completely transformed the frontage, giving the building a modern feel and a whole new lease of life.

We’re excited to have been part of the refurbishment as the venue prepares for its next chapter as Velvet Tide, opening soon as a new bar and restaurant.

Another Rosewood Front Door Restoration ✨

We probably didn’t even need a before-and-after photo for this one — you only have to look at the difference between the two neighbouring doors to see the transformation. But we thought we’d include the before picture anyway!

This rosewood-effect front door was south/sun facing and had taken a real beating over the years from constant UV exposure, leaving it badly faded and worn.

After our restoration process, the door has been brought back to a rich, deep rosewood finish that looks as good as new. Even better, the coating system we use is UV-protected, helping to prevent future fading and keeping the door looking great for years to come.

This customer had recently upgraded their windows to anthracite grey, but their front door was only around a year old. Replacing a perfectly good door simply didn’t make sense—especially when the cost of a new one can be astronomical.

Another rosewood revival completed 🙌

This front & side door had suffered heavy sun fade — something we see far more often with rosewood finishes than most other colours. Over time, UV exposure had completely dulled the original finish and left the doors looking tired and weathered.

Using a durable UV-resistant coating, we restored the deep rosewood colour and brought both doors back to life. Not only do they look like new again, but they’re now protected for many more years to come ☀️🚪

Something a bit different on this one 👀

This kitchen came to us with failing, damaged laminate, so we took it right back to bare MDF before giving it a full respray.

The chosen colour? Nancy’s Blushes by Farrow & Ball — definitely not your everyday kitchen colour, but we love how it turned out! 🎨

The customer originally considered having the kitchen re-wrapped, but after weighing up the pros and cons, decided spraying was the better long-term option.

We’ll admit… we had our doubts at the start — but seeing it finished, we think it looks amazing and brings a real unique touch to the space.

This week we had the pleasure of restoring this front door back to a clean, fresh, and presentable entrance for a lovely home in Letham ✨

As many will know, rosewood isn’t the easiest colour to match, but with the right preparation and attention to detail, we were able to bring it back to life. The transformation speaks for itself — from heavily worn and faded to a rich, even finish that really lifts the whole property.

Our customer was absolutely delighted with the result, and feedback like that makes it all worthwhile 🙌

Finally some good weather to get back to external spraying! ☀️

we transformed these rosewood windows to perfectly match the garage door we resprayed last year.

Finished in RAL 8019 (grey brown), giving the whole property a clean, modern, and consistent look 👌
