Had someone tell you that you need a whole new roof? Get a second opinion.

A lot of the time it's a handful of slipped or broken slates, like the patch here, and they can be swapped out in a morning. We'll always tell you straight if a repair will do the job.

When did anyone last look at your ridge tiles?

They take the worst of the wind and rain, and once the old mortar cracks they start working loose. A new ridge line like this one keeps the top of the roof sound for years.

Call us on 07473 431365. Covering Edinburgh, Musselburgh, Dalkeith, Haddington and Peebles.

Most roof leaks don't start at the tiles. They start at the leadwork, the flashing where the roof meets a wall, a chimney or a valley. When that lead cracks, lifts, or was never done right in the first place, water gets in and shows up as a damp patch inside.

Sort the lead properly and the leak's gone for good. If you've a leak you can't pin down, give us a call on 07473 431365. Covering Edinburgh, Musselburgh, Dalkeith, Haddington and across the Lothians and Borders.
