🚨BEFORE & AFTER 🚨

These asphalt steps were slumping and degrading and at the end of their serviceable life. So we prepped them. Removing the slumped asphalt to bring them back to life. Then applied a cold applied liquid base coat, reinforcement and quartz due to the steps being trafficked constantly for anti slip. We had to manage the risk of the tenants walking in and out through the day by completing the stairs in two stages. We then applied the topcoat. Not a bad job if we do say so ourselves. ✅✅✅✅✅

One of our hospital projects approaching completion.

The existing main roof area was asbestos slate which was stripped and removed from site by asbestos specialists.

The building was live during the course of the works and extra care was taken to ensure the building remained watertight throughout the course of the contract.

A great Eternit slate finish. 👏well done to all involved.

A few photos of the calibre of work our teams under take. Detailing is key !

The system installed is a high performance felt system coupled with a tapered insulation scheme.

Part of the roof is scheduled to receive a sedum roof system, 50% of the felt mineral cap sheet installed is an anti root cap sheet , which eliminates the risk sedum / plant roots damage through the waterproofing.

Another complex project completed in central London.

Astral stripped the existing decking and furnishings and installed a two layer torch ON AXTER System to the field area and upstands.

Our team then reinstated the decking and furnishings whilst localising all the materials and furnishings within the roof space. Well done to the operatives involved. Cracking effort. Now ready for London’s night life.

Astral Roofing stripped an inverted roof area on a library building, removing the 20/40 washed gravel, soil and insulation board.

Once removed, our team installed an AXTER built up felt system to the terrace. Another roof London doesn’t have to worry about for 25+ years 👏

Astral Roofing removed the existing decking and installed a new felt roof covering and new decking terrace completed with up-lighters. A nice little project to be involved in. 😊
