🔨 OUTBUILDING ROOF REFURBISHMENT COMPLETE! 🏠

A great transformation on this older outbuilding, giving it a new lease of life while keeping its original character.

The existing roof was stripped back, old cement fibre sheets removed and the roof extended to create a much-improved finish.

Works carried out included:

✅ Original slates carefully stripped and retained for reuse

✅ Old cement fibre roofing sheets removed

✅ Roof structure extended

✅ New breathable roofing membrane and treated battens installed

✅ Original slates reinstated, with reclaimed slates used on the extension to blend seamlessly with the existing roof

✅ New treated backing boards fitted

✅ New guttering and downpipes installed

✅ Existing render treated with water seal for added weather protection

A fantastic little refurbishment, bringing an ageing outbuilding back up to standard while preserving its traditional appearance.

Another property made watertight and ready for many more years of use! 👏

🏠 Full Roof Ridge Repointing Completed!

Another roofing maintenance project completed by AVI Property Services! 🔨

We’ve recently completed the repointing of all ridge tiles across this property, removing deteriorated mortar and repointing to restore a secure, weather-resistant finish.

Over time, traditional mortar can crack and deteriorate due to weather exposure, potentially leaving ridge tiles loose and vulnerable to water ingress.
