WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF HERBIE AND FRIENDS

From the brilliant minds of Paul Kimberley and Ross D**e.

Come and meet Herbie Hibiscus and all his wonderful friends in a brand new children's story series where plants, vegetables, herbs and flowers come to life!
Created for little readers aged 3–7, each adventure combines fun, friendship, gentle life lessons and a little horticultural magic.

BOOK 1 – Naughty Nick Nettle
At the Gardener's Retreat Café, Herbie and his friends enjoy a delicious meal, however Naughty Nick Nettle has a plan of his own! A funny story about sharing, friendship and learning to think about others.

BOOK 2 – Herbie and the Hidden Cave
Herbie, Sammy Sage and Mollie Mint go exploring and discover a mysterious cave. But when they run too far from Uncle Bertie Basil, they soon realise they don't know how to get home! Luckily, a new friend, Reilly Rhubarb, knows the way. A story about listening, staying safe and asking for help.

BOOK 3 – Jen Jasmine Wins the Right Way
It's time for the annual Farm Friends Fun Run! But while Jen Jasmine prepares sensibly and encourages everyone, Naughty Nick Nettle and Lou the Loopy Lupin decide to take a shortcut. A fun-filled story about honesty, healthy choices, taking part and helping your friends.

BOOK 4 – Battle of the Berries
Ross Raspberry, Bailey Blueberry and Leighanne Loganberry each make Farmer Ash their own special refreshing drink. But when Naughty Nick and Lou cause a little mischief, the three berries begin arguing about whose drink Farmer Ash likes best. Can they discover that working together is better than competing against each other?

BOOK 5– Naughty Nick Nettle Saves the Day
Nick, Herbie and Uncle Bertie travel to sunny Mexico to visit their friend Pablo Poinsettia. There they meet the lovely Jessica Jalapeño, but a prickly problem soon appears! When Carlos Cactus starts bullying Jessica, Naughty Nick discovers that his unusual talents can be used for good. A story about bravery, friendship, forgiveness and not judging someone by their reputation.

AND THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING...
The Herbie and Friends world is growing, with lots more characters, adventures and horticultural fun still to come!

Our aim is to create stories that children will laugh with, learn from and want to read again and again, while introducing them to the wonderful world of plants and gardening along the way.

Welcome to Herbie and Friends — where every plant has a story!

How do you know if the Get Children Growing campaign makes a difference?

So today a brown envolope came through my door and what was inside absolutely made my day. A thank you book and thank you letters from a whole school. Ryhall C of E Academy.

This proves that Get Children Growing can make an impact and really make a difference to children's lives.

I didn't do it alone though so I cannot take all of the credit. Without our amazing sponsors British Garden Centres and Westland Horticulture , none of it would have been possible.
