Just want to say a big thank you to all old and new customers for all the support you've given us this year and in previous years. Hope you all have an amazing Christmas and enjoy the new year festivities.

Unfortunately due to major injury we won't be working for some time now, those of you that know me, you'll probably know what has happened, those that dont, unfortunately I have a really bad hip injury which has now completely failed requiring a full hip replacement. This means we won't be working till probably at least march, maybe even later. Thank you for everyone's support and we'll be back as soon as we can!

Well that's the latest job completed by the team this morning 👀

Our latest project was a full refurbishment of a hair salon in Darwen 👍

We did a full rip out of all the internal stud walls, removed all existing flooring and doors ✅

We installed a new LVT flooring throughout the whole building ✅

Beautiful oak acoustic panelling installed ✅

New kitchen installed ✅

New oak veneer doors installed throughout ✅

Two new back wash sinks installed and plumbed ✅

New mirrors installed in the salon ✅

Our customer is now ready for her new journey in her brand new salon 😁

Why it’s £300 a day minimum for tradesmen in 2025

2015 vs 2025 – the reality check:
• Salary £27,615 ➡ £37,430 (+35%)
• House price £190k ➡ £298k (+57%)
• Rent £630 ➡ £1,200 (+90%)
• Weekly food shop £43 ➡ £93 (+116%)
• Household bills £1,184 ➡ £1,738 (+47%)

So when you ask “why are trades so expensive these days?” — it’s because the cost of simply existing has doubled, but wages haven’t.

£300 a day for skilled trades and £20/hr for unskilled labour isn’t “greedy”… it’s survival in 2025.

I have seen this today on another page sharing details with other trades.

We do a lot of these jobs all inclusive of our work, so when we give out a quote all these prices should be taken into consideration as we don't charge anywhere near what some of these individual companies charge per each service.

We try our best to provide everyone with the best possible price, while also providing the best possible service.

We aim to make sure that all of our customers are happy 😁
