Logistics Administrator Required – Keep Our Timber Moving
Are you organised, proactive and enjoy keeping things running smoothly?
Do you take pride in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring things happen when they're supposed to?
If so, we'd like to hear from you. We're CJT Timber Sourcing, a fourth-generation, family-run timber business, and we're looking for a Logistics Administrator to join our busy office team. You'll play a key role in ensuring our products reach customers on time and that enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.
Your duties will include:
• Liaising with our outsourced hauliers to arrange customer deliveries.
• Calculating transport costs and obtaining haulage quotations.
• Preparing and issuing customer quotations.
• Responding to customer enquiries and resolving delivery-related queries.
• Working closely with our Sales Team to support customer requirements.
• Liaising with our Production Department to coordinate dispatches and delivery schedules.
• Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries as appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Excel and company systems.
• Developing a good understanding of our product range to support customers and colleagues effectively.
We're looking for someone who is organised, professional and willing to learn. Ideally, you'll have:
• Previous experience in an administration, logistics, transport or customer service role.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about our products and business operations.
Experience of Sage Accounts would be beneficial but is not essential, as training can be provided.
Teamwork matters here
Our office team works closely with Sales, Production and our transport partners to ensure customers receive the service they expect.

Hours & Benefits
• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 5:00pm with an earlier finish of 3:00pm on Friday’s
• £12.75 to £13.15 per hour
