Torrential rain ... NO PROBLEM!!!

There really is no such thing as 'the wrong weather' when you're building with SIPs and although working under the beautiful blue skies of this summer has been wonderful for the SIPS@Clays installation teams, it's just as easy for us to build your dream SIPs home in the rain and cold!

Unlike traditional methods of construction which rely on good weather conditions for bricklaying, other wet trades and on-site processes, a SIPs building system is erected regardless of bad weather. This means that there is little or no disruption to follow on trades which reduces both the length and cost of the build process.

As far as energy efficient self builds go, our fabulous SIPs project in Skipton really hits the mark.

Did you know that SIPs roof panels are structural, which means there is no need for traditional roof trusses?

Unlike traditional methods of construction, building with SIPs gives great design flexibility and so without the limitations of trusses in the finished roof space, provides spacious ‘room in the roof’ attic rooms or mezzanine floors. This maximises floor space, improves 'livability' and adds value to the property - it's a win-win!
