🌧️ WARNING: High Winds & Heavy Rain Headed Our Way! 💨🏠
With severe weather warnings issued across parts of the UK, now is the time to make sure your home is fully protected. High winds, heavy downpours, and flying debris can easily dislodge roof tiles, damage flashing, and cause undetected leaks that quickly turn into costly indoor water damage.
Here are 3 quick checks you can do today before the weather turns:
🔍 Look for loose or missing tiles/slates from ground level.
🍂 Check that gutters and downspouts are clear to prevent water pooling and overflow.
🌳 Trim back overhanging branches that could snap in strong gusts.
⚠️ Already noticed an issue, damp patches, or slipped tiles?

Happy Burryman Day from Excel Roofing! 🌿🥃
Today marks one of the most legendary local traditions of the year, and all of us at Excel Roofing are raising a glass to celebrate!
We want to give a massive shoutout to Andrew Taylor, who completes an incredible 15-year run as South Queensferry's Burryman this year. Carrying thousands of sticky burrs, walking miles, and taking on 20+ drams of wh**ky for a decade and a half takes serious grit and dedication—qualities we respect and try to live up to every single day on the job.
As a local business, keeping a solid roof over our community's heads and keeping ancient traditions alive go hand in hand. We hope everyone in the Ferry has a fantastic day enjoying the parade, raising a dram, and keeping the good luck flowing! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✨
