By law I can't remove active nests during nesting season, but from September 1st I will be starting nest removals again across the Tyne Valley and surrounding areas. 🐦🪹

I get this question a lot about moisture content and what to burn.
🔥
My advice is always the same: Buy a moisture meter and if it reads below 20% it’s ok. Above…don’t bother.

Anyway, it doesn’t matter, you burn it, I sweep it and nowts a bother. 🧹

It’s been a busy few months, so I’m looking forward to taking my first proper two-week break in a while with the family 🏕️☀️

I’ve got limited availability between now and 7th August before I head off, so if your chimney or stove is due a sweep, inspection or certificate, now is a good time to get booked in!

Once those remaining spaces are gone, the next availability will be after my break / into September.
