Brought this fibreglass canopy roof back to life today - and what a difference.

Over time, even durable materials like fibreglass can start to look tired, weathered, and worn down by the elements. What might seem like a full replacement job often just needs the right care, attention, and expertise to restore it properly.

Flat roof - stripped back and sorted

This one came to us with a leak that needed properly dealing with - not just patching over.

Mal took the roof right back to the original timber boards to see exactly what was going on underneath.

From there:
• Old, failed covering removed
• Decking checked and prepared
• New torch-on felt system supplied and fitted

No shortcuts, no covering up the problem - just a solid, watertight finish done the right way.

Another roof protected and built to last.

A different kind of tool this week - mindset

At Business First this week, Mal took on the 3-minute education slot - and instead of talking about roofs, tools, or materials, he shared something a bit different.

He spoke about the book The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins, and how its message has stuck with him.

The idea is simple - you can’t control what other people do, how they act, or how they respond. But you can choose how you move forward.

“Let them.”
Let people doubt you.
Let people do things their way.
Let situations unfold as they will.

And instead of getting caught up in that, focus on what you can control - your own actions, your own standards, and how you continue to learn, grow, and lead.

It was a strong message, especially in business where things don’t always go to plan and not everyone will see things the way you do.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is stay focused, keep showing up, and let your work speak for itself.

A great 3-minute slot and a reminder that mindset matters just as much as skill.
