Meet the Team 👋

Mark has been part of the A1 Decking journey for years, starting out as a labourer and working his way up through the company to become a Team Lead, something that says a lot about both his work ethic and commitment.

With 18 years in the building trade and over 10 years specialising in decking and fencing, Mark brings a huge amount of practical experience to every project. He now plays a much bigger role within the business, helping lead installation teams and ensuring jobs are completed to the high standards we pride ourselves on.

Known for being reliable, hardworking, and always getting the job done properly and on time, Mark takes real pride in delivering quality work and making sure customers are happy with the finished result.

Outside of work, life revolves around family time with his fiancée and son, alongside hobbies including off-roading, motocross, stock car racing, camping, gardening, and music.

Meet Gary 👋

With over 20 years’ experience in the decking industry, Gary brings a huge amount of knowledge and expertise to the A1 Decking team.

He works closely with our installation teams to make sure every project runs smoothly and is completed to the highest standard. From planning through to the final build, Gary ensures each deck is built properly, safely, and in line with building regulations.

Most importantly, he makes sure every installation is tailored to the customer’s needs, so the finished result is something you can enjoy for years to come.

Outside of work, Gary enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his four children. His eldest works in the beauty industry, his second eldest works with horses and loves visiting sites to help her dad, his football-mad son can often be found at matches with him, and his youngest always keeps him on his toes.
