A little something extra in every bite.

A generous scattering of spiced nuts, bringing warmth, crunch and a hint of spice to our Winter Sharing Slabs.

Made for passing around, breaking apart and sharing a little indulgence, adding a little warmth to winter evenings and making moments together that bit sweeter.

We began with a word: sanctuary.
The places and moments that offer a little respite from the day-to-day, a walk by the sea, time alone in the garden, a late dinner with friends.
Late this summer, photographer JP Keating and creative and prop director Victoria Twyman joined us to turn that idea into A Place to Winter.
A little of what happened behind the camera.

The last of the blackberries, gathered before Samhain.
The old story says that after the 31st October, whatever remains on the brambles belongs to the púca. So we gathered ours and began making A Place to Winter.
This autumn, JP Keating photographed the places, rituals and things we keep close.

Two sisters. Quite a few years between these two photographs.

When we started Bean and Goose, we believed there was room for a different kind of chocolate company. One that cared about where its ingredients came from, made beautiful things and brought a little more joy into everyday life.

We had plenty of ideas and zero experience of running a chocolate business.

We’ve learned so much since. Some of it the hard way.

So it’s particularly lovely to find ourselves nominated together for the eir Power of Women Awards in the Food & Drink category.

We’re proud of what we’ve built, and of the people who have helped us build it.

There’s still so much we want to make, learn and do.

Thank you eir and VIP Magazine

We think it’s almost time for hot chocolate season.

Cooler mornings, golden afternoons, walks through crisp leaves and evenings spent tucked up somewhere warm.

A little slower. A little softer. And always better with something warm in your hands.

Here’s to the simple pleasures of autumn 🍂

As the seasons turn, so do our flavours 🍂

Spiced fruit & nuts bring warmth to our Sharing Slabs.

Made for passing around, breaking off a piece, and settling in for the evening 🤎

A little pause in the day.

Coffee, chocolate, and five quiet minutes to yourself.
