Honoured to share that our work at Architects will be presented and celebrated at the BIG SEE Festival 2026 in Portorož.

BIG SEE is one of Europe’s recognised international platforms for architecture and design, bringing together renowned architecture offices, emerging studios and creative voices from around the world.

Being part of this programme represents an important opportunity for dialogue, exchange and reflection within an international architectural context.

This recognition comes at a meaningful moment for our office. In 2025, we realised our first 3D printed architectural project in Luxembourg. In 2026, we are taking the next step with a cement-free 3D printed prototype using geopolymer materials, developed between Luxembourg and Amsterdam.

Looking forward to meeting colleagues, sharing experiences and discussing architecture, responsibility and the future of our built environment.

See you in Portorož.

On a currently underused island within the lake, a new vision takes shape: an open place for learning, creativity, and exchange between young generations and the wider public. The project reimagines the island not as an isolated fragment, but as a living environment where nature, education, and everyday life come together.

A circular building is carefully embedded into the landscape, forming a protected structure that hosts ateliers and learning spaces for all age groups, from kindergarten to lycée. At its center, a green courtyard becomes a shared garden and experimental field, where children and students can explore, observe, create, and learn in direct connection with nature and the changing seasons.

The outer layer extends into the island, creating paths, small gardens, and places to stay. A café and exhibition areas open the project to the public, allowing visitors to engage with and experience the work of the students.

This idea is driven by a clear belief: the future of our world depends on the knowledge, curiosity, and creativity of the next generations. By giving young people the space, tools, and attention they need to grow, we actively shape a better world. If we neglect this responsibility, we risk creating a weaker, less balanced future for everyone.

This proposal is a personal initiative by Bujar, an independent impulse to rethink how an overlooked place can become meaningful again: open, quiet, and deeply connected to nature.

Rooftop Reliving is about rethinking the spaces we’ve ignored for years.
So many flat roofs sit unused, empty surfaces with no purpose.
What if these places became gardens, quiet corners to sit, or small greenhouses where people grow their own food?
A home doesn’t stop at the last floor it continues above it.

By bringing rooftops back into use, we create healthier ways of living and communities that feel connected again.
