Apparently the water pipes in Helensville didnt get the memo thats its a public holiday, one repair and one temporary fix till the shop opens for parts for the super old obsolete pipe.
I call that the Chelsea patch, an old boy I used to work with who once fixed all the old galvanized steel pipe work at the suger factory showed me this. They would pin hole so often that the place was full of little patches like this 😆
