Is renovating your home actually worth the investment?

It's a question we get asked, and the answer really depends on what you're wanting to achieve.

For some homeowners, it's about adding value before selling. For others, it's creating a home that works better for their lifestyle, without having to move.

We believe a worthwhile renovation comes down to good planning, making smart decisions with your budget and focusing on the changes that will make the biggest difference.

A worthwhile renovation isn't always the biggest or most expensive. It's the one that makes the biggest difference to your home and how you live.

A little throwback to Helen’s gorgeous kitchen! ✨

We had so much fun working on this project with Helen, and we still love how it all came together.

And that wallpaper! Such a beautiful finishing touch that gives this kitchen so much personality.

We thought it was about time we properly introduced ourselves!

We're Amber and Bronson, the team behind Refresh Renovations Rodney & Hibiscus Coast.

We've both always had a passion for property, and between us, we bring different skills and experience to the table.

Bronson comes from a background in marine engineering, managing complex projects, while Amber has an eye for detail and loves the planning and organisation side of things.

We've also been through renovations ourselves, so we know how exciting they can be, but also how stressful things can get!

That's a big part of why we do what we do. We want to take the stress out of renovating, make the process easier, and help people actually enjoy bringing their ideas to life.

We're looking forward to meeting more local homeowners, hearing about your plans, and hopefully helping make them happen!

One thing we want people to know about renovating is that you don't need to have it all figured out before getting in touch with us!

You might have a few ideas, a Pinterest board full of inspiration, or just know that something in your home isn't quite working anymore.

That's where we come in.

We can talk through your ideas, help you work out what's possible, and guide you through the whole process, from the initial planning right through to the finished renovation.

So, if renovating has been on your mind, we'd love to have a chat!

Our initial consultations are free, with no obligation to go any further.

The Harbour Hospice Homes & Gardens Tour in Omaha is coming up, giving guests the chance to step inside a beautiful collection of local homes and experience some incredible architecture, interiors, and landscaping along the way.

We are excited to announce that we will be there representing Refresh Renovations, connecting with the local community, and enjoying a day that brings together great homes with a great cause.

All funds raised from the event support Harbour Hospice and the care they provide to local families.

While it is now sold out, if you're heading along, make sure you come and say hi!

And keep an eye on our page - we might just have a double pass to give away...

A great night representing Refresh Renovations at the 2026 REINZ Awards for Excellence ✨

As a major sponsor of the awards, we had the opportunity to attend on behalf of the wider Refresh brand and spend the evening alongside some of the top performers in New Zealand real estate.

We loved meeting people from across the industry, building new relationships and strengthening connections within the wider property sector.

A fantastic event we were proud to be part of and represent Refresh on such a big stage.
