Another home. Another complete transformation.

This time, the renovation began by stripping the house back and removing all the rotten framing and cladding before reframing and recladding the entire exterior.

The result is a home that has been completely reworked, inside and out.

✨ New roof and redesigned roofline
🛁 Ensuites added to all three existing bedrooms
🛏️ New bedroom and ensuite above the garage
🚿 Renovated powder room
🍳 Completely redesigned kitchen
🌿 New decks and joinery
🧱 New retaining walls
🚗 New carparking space
🌱 New fencing and gardens

The site itself added another layer of complexity. Shared driveway access, a unique site layout and challenging drainage meant careful planning was essential, with specialist soak holes, Geotech input and technical retaining and structural steel work all part of the project.

As with the first home, we worked closely with watertight specialists and council throughout the restoration to ensure the work met the necessary compliance and technical requirements.

This STUNNING house has had the Weinbox Builders treatment!
Some renovations are about updating a home. Others are about rebuilding it from the ground up.

This leaky home required a major transformation, including lifting and levelling the entire rear of the house, removing rotten framing and cladding, and rebuilding the structure before recladding.

The renovation also included:

🔨 New framing, cladding and roofline
🏠 New roof
🛏️ New downstairs bedroom and ensuite, created by excavating beneath the house
💧 Specialist waterproofing to the new lower-level room
🛁 Ensuites added to two upstairs bedrooms
🍳 Completely redesigned kitchen
🚿 Renovated powder room
📐 Extended upstairs living area
🌿 New decks, joinery, retaining walls, fencing and gardens
🚗 Additional carparking

Behind the finished result was a highly technical build, involving structural steel, Geotech and drainage requirements, specialist soak holes and extensive retaining work.

We also worked closely with watertight specialists and council to navigate the compliance requirements of a complex leaky home restoration.

A huge project, completely transformed.

We combined the toilet and bathroom to create a light, spacious new bathroom, complete with fresh tiling and new fixtures from Placemakers.

Working with a narrow layout and fixed windows, we found a clever solution with a corner shower that opens both ways - freeing up enough space for a beautiful freestanding bath. 🙌
