Join us October 27 to hear Matt Saunders of ToolBank Disaster Services.

Hello everyone, my name is Steven, but I go by Matt. I am a U.S. Air Force veteran who served 20 years on active duty and recently retired in February 2025. I joined the ToolBank team in 2025, where we established the newly formed Dallas ToolBank and was named the South-Central Territory Manager. I have experience in community outreach, having served as an Enlisted Accessions Recruiter out of Houston, where he engaged with the public as an Air Force ambassador, even working with Habitat for Humanity to build houses. I enjoy traveling with my family, watching my son play sports (Basketball/Soccer), smoking meat on my pellet grill, and playing any sport he can and trying not to get injured doing it.

ToolBank Disaster Services provides the tools, literally, to get the job done. We deploy staff and various size trailers filled with tools to equip community-based organizations and their volunteers at no cost.

WHAT do we need to get it done:

Response and recovery tools
Equipment
Supplies & Consumables
Personnel
Warehouse

Mary Jo's memorial service will be at 11:15 a.m. in Columbarium B at the DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas. The cemetery is 638 acres, so it is suggested that you arrive early, drive past the entrance, proceed to the Public Information Center, and use the automated grave locator kiosk. The locator will print a step-by-step map showing you exactly how to reach the specific columbarium wall.

Her stepdaughter, Cindy, says the service will be informal, and anyone wishing to speak is welcome.
