West Adams isn't being replaced. It's being reinvented — and that distinction matters. New housing and mixed-use development are adding density along major corridors while historic Victorian and Craftsman homes and established residential streets remain the foundation of what the neighborhood actually is. The new is moving in next to the old, not over it. Neighborhood change is more than new buildings — it's new housing, local businesses, walkability, and street life. The real transformation happens when the spaces between the buildings start changing too. Some neighborhoods change through one massive project. West Adams is changing through dozens of smaller investments layered onto an established community. What does it look like in 5 years? Tell us in the comments.
