"Building Quality - Building Dreams” We focus on new construction and developments of single family homes. I'm fully licensed and insured.

My Iowa license number is: C114349. One of the defining differences I have over other builders / general contractors in the area is that I actually worked in every construction trade prior to opening Stradt Homes in 2009 here in Cedar Rapids Iowa. The Stradt family has been developing neighborhoods and building homes since 1957 in eastern Iowa, and I'm proud to continue that tradition.

Fun announcement. We're wrapping up a new "Feng Shui" print. We'll start construction on it right away this fall as we already have one pre-sold for it.

All of my custom prints will be available on our new site which will be launching soon and available to the public by registering with your name, email, and a selfie to protect the integrity of the prints and time invested in creating them.

As 2026 heads towards a close, it's been a fun year. We just finished our newest new build that is for sale and are starting multiple projects for winter into spring. Its been a big year on equipment purchases with a lot more to come in 2027, ground acquisitions, and lots of new tech. We'll be rolling out a lot of it this month into November. Plus some policy changes going forward in 2027 that will be cost savings to the customer making us even more competitive. As the holidays approach, I wish you the very best as your 2026 wraps up.

We are hiring. I apologize I've been focused on the idea. Ok. I want to duplicate me 2 - 3 times or forever. $20 hr to start. You will work with me for 6 months minimum. Then own truck and tools by the company. I'm not opposed to paying for talent.

Well finally finished up last week. New family moved in. Almost 30 years since someone has lived in this home. The balance between trying to keep some of the older parts to making it new and more functional to today.

Additional cleaner needed. This job is at a distance. My normal gal is unable. Will be ready this weekend.

Getting very close to the reveal on this one. 2 years in the making. Less than 2 weeks left to move in for the next family. House hasn't seen occupants in almost 30 years. She'll never be perfect but she's sharpening up nicely and under budget.
