Trick or treat! 🎃

We welcomed our mini ghosts and goblins to our corporate office last weekend for the annual Haselden Boorah! Departments went all out with decorations, lights, and even a few inflatables, creating a festive trick-or-treat path through the building.

We love opportunities to connect outside of work and bring our families along for the fun!

Thank you to our volunteers and department decorators who made this year's Boo-Rah a huge success!

Congratulations to Haselden's Q3 MVP, Calvin Bultman! 🎉

Calvin was nominated by team members for this quarter's award for his proactive approach problem-solving as a superintendent, his strong client communication, and for bringing a collaborative approach to work every day. He brings valuable experience and perspective to the table while always remaining open to new ideas and solutions.

Calvin fosters a true sense of partnership among project stakeholders, holding everyone accountable and working together to deliver exceptional results. We're lucky to have him on the team and proud to celebrate him!

Steamboat Mountain’s terrain park is getting an elite-level halfpipe, thanks to our Stockman team! ❄️

We repurposed 40,000 cubic yards of excavated dirt from the project site, moving it up the mountain to create the foundation for a longer, steeper halfpipe. Now skiers and snowboarders will be able to drop-in earlier in the season, and it will take 60% less snow to operate!

We want to extend a huge congratulations to our recent Level 2 Leadership course participants! During this one-year commitment, these team members dedicated themselves to honing their skills, undergoing training with four professional coaches, utilizing career development tools, and expanding their overall impact. To wrap up the program, two teams went head-to-head in a Capstone Project challenge, developing innovative, real-world solutions for an operational workflow issue and presenting their proposals directly to our executive leadership team. Haselden looks forward to integrating their winning insights directly into our day-to-day operations.

What does building an inclusive jobsite look like?

We wrapped up Construction Inclusion Week with a lunch and learn from our CSU Clark team on how they're building a jobsite culture where everyone feels they belong. From recognizing new hires to connecting outside of work, the team shared how small, intentional efforts can make a difference.

Thank you to Kris Debler (senior estimator), Amanda Seltzer (assistant superintendent), George Banuelos (carpenter foreman), and Reseena Cowan (senior project coordinator) for an excellent panel today.
