Our technicians:

Another home brought up to code in Highlands Ranch!

Matt with Genesis 1:3 Electric was out helping a homeowner get their property ready to sell by making sure the home met current electrical safety requirements before inspection.

We installed and updated:
- Smoke detectors
- GFCI protection
- General electrical safety items to help bring the home up to code compliance

When selling a home, electrical issues can delay inspections, negotiations, or closing. Making sure your smoke detectors and GFCI outlets are properly installed and functioning can help the process go much smoother — while also keeping the next homeowners safe.

If you’re buying, selling, remodeling, or just want peace of mind that your home is safe and up to code, give Genesis 1:3 Electric a call!

Serving Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Littleton, Parker, Englewood, Greenwood Village, Aurora, South Denver & surrounding areas.

Today on a service call, a homeowner provided their own light fixture for installation — and it’s a good reminder that not all lighting products are created equal.

When purchasing lighting or electrical products, always make sure they are **UL Listed** (Underwriters Laboratories certified). UL testing helps ensure products meet important safety standards and helps reduce the risk of overheating, electrical failure, and even house fires.

Cheap or uncertified fixtures may save money upfront, but they can become serious safety hazards over time. At Genesis 1:3 Electric, safety always comes first, and we’re always happy to help homeowners make informed decisions before installation.

Need a trusted electrician near you?

We provide professional electrical services including lighting installation, troubleshooting, panel upgrades, generators, and more throughout Centennial and surrounding areas.

Before:

Outdated electrical equipment can become a BIG problem when insurance companies get involved.

This multi-unit property needed a full electrical service upgrade in order to meet insurance requirements and keep the property compliant and protected. Our team will be out there and:
- Updating the meter stack
- Replacing the main electrical equipment
- Adding a new subpanel in the laundry room
- Installing a 7th meter for the property

A lot of older buildings still have aging electrical systems that may no longer meet today’s standards — and many property owners don’t find out until inspections or insurance evaluations happen.

Safe. Clean. Code-compliant electrical work matters.

Stay Tuned for the after!

Electrical issues aren’t always where you expect!

Customer called us out after the water heater outlet, microwave outlet, and several other outlets throughout the home stopped working. Matt, one of our senior electricians, went out to Macanta in Castle Rock for a diagnostic — turns out a tripped GFI was affecting multiple outlets on the circuit.

Sometimes electrical problems seem major, but proper troubleshooting finds the real issue.
