For Osmara Ramirez-Zarate, Southwest Detroit is home. And to say she is a proud member of the community would be an understatement.

Growing up in Southwest Detroit, Osmara and her family were active participants in the programs, organizations, and events that help make the community such a vibrant place to live. Those experiences shaped her passion for service and inspired a lifelong commitment to giving back.

Today, as Ideal's Community Engagement & Outreach Manager, Osmara works alongside community partners, local organizations, and residents to help strengthen the neighborhoods that shaped her. Through these collaborative efforts, she is helping create opportunities for others while making a lasting impact on the community she is proud to call home.

Our team recently celebrated the topping out of a 950,000-square-foot hyperscale data center in Port Washington, Wisconsin.

We were proud to be joined by so many of our project partners, trade contractors, and team members who have dedicated their time and energy to making this project safe and successful.

Collaboration was the foundation of the Jason Hargrove Transit Center project. Working alongside design-build partners DLZ and NORR, Ideal Contracting partnered with the City of Detroit and the Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) to create a modern transit hub that expands access and connectivity for the surrounding community. The project centered on the adaptive reuse of the historic Dairy Cattle Building at the former Michigan State Fairgrounds, preserving an important piece of Detroit's history while delivering a fully operational transit center designed to meet the needs of today's riders.
