This is Biodesign and let me answer a few quick questions I know you'll have about this product.
"Is it sand?" Yes and no! Think the effects and vibes of sand without the mess. Biodesign is a sand material with resin is layed over a liner so the water recycles back to the pool, but it's a solid material. No shredded feet, no burning toes on concrete.
"Can I build a pool out of this?" Yes! We have built pools, splash pads, water features, and hot tubs.
"What about algae?" Valid question. Biodesign has an antimicrobial layer in place when being installed to help prevent the growth of algae. Biodesign pools also have more returns so there is more water circulation. Less stagnant water = less algae problems. Proper installation and maintenance is key here just like with any other pool.
"How do I get it in my area?" We are trained to build Biodesign pools in Utah, but if you're outside of our state, send us a message and we can help you get in touch with a rep in your area.
