It’s Friday, the kids are out of school, and the Sanderson sisters have officially taken over our living room! 🧙‍♀️🎃

Hocus Pocus is a Halloween staple in the Boyd house, so you better believe it made today’s schedule!

Around here, we don’t need a black flame candle to summon chaos… we just have to tell the Boyd kids there’s no school! 😂🖤

Another day, another date with my baby daddy. 😂❤️

I swear we do work and parent our children. 🤣

We ended up with a little unexpected free time today, so naturally, we took advantage of it and snuck away for a lunch date!

One thing Mike and I have always been big on is continuing to date each other. Whether it’s dinner, drinks, a random lunch, or just getting away from the chaos for an hour.

Life is busy. Marriage is busy. Kids are busy. Running a business is BUSY. But we refuse to get so caught up in all of it that we forget about us.

Plus, supporting another local small business while we’re at it? Even better! ❤️

Today’s lunch date brought us to Taytro’s! 🍂🍹

Moral of the story: Date your spouse. Even if people start thinking you don’t own a kitchen. 😂

Well, our Friday night plans took a little turn! 😂🏈

Our middle kiddo has a football game in Jeff City tomorrow morning, so naturally we decided to load up all five of us and make a little overnight trip out of it!

A little football, some hotel pool time, and a whole lot of family chaos. 😂❤️

Sometimes you just gotta put work aside and enjoy these moments while the kids are still little enough to want to hang out with us!

Dropped the middle kid off at youth, stumbled across this place, and now we’re eating fries, drinking b**r, and listening to karaoke. Living LARGE over here. 🤣

Between three kids, sports, and running a business, we’ll take a date night however we can get one!

7 years in business, and I still kinda like this guy. ❤️😂

🎉 7 YEARS OF I KNOW A GUY FENCE & DECK! 🎉

Well, apparently 7 years ago today, Mike decided he didn’t have enough headaches in his life and started a business. 😂

And somehow, here we are!

Since he would NEVER make a post bragging about himself, we figured we’d take care of that for him. You’re welcome, Mike. 😘

Behind all the sarcasm, stubbornness, sleeveless shirts, and occasional questionable attitude is a guy who has worked his butt off to build something pretty incredible.

He puts in the long hours, carries the stress, and still shows up every day to make sure things get done.

We give him a hard time (and trust us, he earns it 🤣), but we couldn’t be prouder of him.

Mike, from your family and crew, we appreciate everything you do, even if we don’t tell you nearly enough.

And to everyone who has supported this crazy adventure over the last 7 years, THANK YOU!
