⚠️ Mini Split Tip #2 ⚠️

On many multi-zone mini split systems, using AUTO mode can create operation problems.

Your system may try to HEAT one room and COOL another at the same time — which most systems cannot do.

This can cause:
• Flashing lights
• Error codes
• Poor heating/cooling
• System not operating correctly

✅ Best practice:
Set ALL indoor units to the SAME mode:
HEAT, COOL, DRY, or FAN.

Different temperatures are OK. Different modes are not.

This simple setting mistake causes a lot of unnecessary service calls.

⚠️ Mini Split Tip ⚠️

Your multi-zone mini split system cannot heat one room and cool another room at the same time.

I just went on a service call today for a system that wasn’t working properly — the issue was simply one head set to HEAT and another set to COOL.

✅ All indoor heads need to be in the same mode:
• HEAT
• COOL
• DRY
• or FAN

Different temperatures are fine — but not different operating modes.

This simple check could save you a service call 👍
