We've heard a few rumors circulating lately, and we wanted to take a moment to set the record straight.

Five Star Lawn & Landscape is NOT going out of business.

In fact, we're still here doing what we've always done—serving our customers, maintaining properties, and working hard every day to continue growing our business.

Like many small businesses, we've faced challenges, weather delays, equipment breakdowns, staffing changes, and the everyday ups and downs that come with running a business. But those challenges have only strengthened our commitment to our customers and community.

We are incredibly grateful for the support, patience, and trust our customers have shown us over the years. Because of you, we're able to continue doing what we love.

To our amazing community,

For the past several years, we've been proud to host our annual fireworks celebration and create a fun evening for friends, families, and supporters of Five Star Lawn & Landscape.

This season hasn't gone quite as planned. Between the weather not cooperating and changes within our team, we've been working hard to keep up with the demands of the season while continuing to provide the level of service our customers deserve. As much as we love hosting this event, it requires a tremendous amount of planning, coordination, and preparation. After much consideration, we've decided that a full-scale event simply isn't in the cards for us this year.

We may still put on a fireworks display, but it will likely be on a much smaller scale than in years past. This means no DJ, vendors, or many of the extras we've traditionally offered.

We want everyone to know that this is not the end of our annual celebration. Sometimes small businesses have to adjust and prioritize where their time and energy are needed most. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we focus on serving our customers and navigating a challenging season.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to bringing the event back bigger and better in the future.

We just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of our amazing customers for your patience, understanding, and continued support this season. Between the unpredictable weather and unexpected equipment breakdowns, it has definitely been a challenging start to the year.

Running a small business is not always easy, but having loyal clients like ours truly helps ease some of the stress. Your kindness, flexibility, and encouragement mean more to us than you know.

As some of you may or may not know, this year I do not have a mowing crew. It’s just me — the owner — out there handling the route each day, with the occasional help from my son after he gets out of school.

On top of the mowing itself, there’s also all of the day-to-day work that comes with running a business behind the scenes. My wife, who already works a full-time job while also managing our household, has been helping wherever she can as well.

With all of that combined — and the amount of rain we’ve had over the past few months — I’ve struggled to stay on schedule with the mowing route.

I wanted to be transparent with all of our loyal customers and let you know why things may seem a little behind right now. If you’ve tried contacting us and it’s taken longer than usual to hear back, or if your grass seems a mile high, trust me — we know, and we’re working hard every day to get caught back up.

At this time, I’m also unable to take on any additional work. There simply aren’t enough hours in the work week right now.

As always, thank you for the continued support, patience, and loyalty. My family and I truly appreciate you more than you know.
